My first experiment with this bean was in a FreshRoast. I took it to full city (as is my norm). The bean reached first crack quickly, and continued straight through to second crack. The roast was done within the first full 5 minute cycle.

Definitely a unique flavor to this bean. My first brew was an espresso the shot had a smooth texture, little bitterness, and wonderfully deep tan, fine crema. Clear chocolate taste, strong sweetness but I found the caramel flavor to be subtle.

My initial purchase was for 2lbs, but I have already placed an order for much more. This is going to be a staple in my inventory, and it already one of my favorite single origin beans. (Posted on 7/28/2010)
